In his 36 years in marketing and advertising, for 18 of which he was based in Dubai, Bangkok and London, Bharat has been central to the success of many a national, regional and global brand.

His track record is rich with brand positioning and repositioning successes. 

  • In 2003-04, based in Bangkok as Lowe’s Regional Director on Unilever for Asia Pacific, Bharat led the highly successful Asian interpretation and deployment of Unilever’s global premium detergent positioning Dirt Is Good.

  • In 2005-06, Bharat was Lowe’s Global Team Leader partnering Unilever in reshaping a small four-country Asian brand Clear into a global challenger to P&G’s Head & Shoulders, putting it on the road to being another proud member of Unilever’s stable of billion dollar brands.

  • In 2009-10, as Global Team Leader on Unilever’s Hair Category at JWT based in London, Bharat led the global re-launch of Sunsilk putting the brand back on the path to growth in 60+ countries.

  • In 2011-13, as Global Brand Director of airtel based in New Delhi, Bharat orchestrated the resurgence of the airtel brand through a youth targeted repositioning and breakthrough campaigns such as Har Friend Zaroori Hain and Jo Mera Hai, Wo Tera Hai.
